Mac - Otto Watcher doesn't work
Otto Watcher deprecated
Otto Watcher no longer works in macOS Monterey, and we have decided not to fix it going forward. It app will be removed in a future release. Here are the reasons why:
- Otto Watcher only worked on Mac, while Otto runs on Mac, Windows and Linux.
- Linux already requires command line tools to start and stop Otto.
- Command line alternatives exist for the macOs as well.
- Maintaining a completely seperate application for just one of the three platforms takes resources we would rather spend on adding new features to Otto, that would benefit all three platforms.
