API overview

The Developer API is one way to access Otto features. It provides API endpoints to perform various tasks. You can use FileMaker scripts or an HTTP client (e.g. Postman) to interact with Otto. The API is exposed via a RESTful JSON API.

The API provides you the tools to create custom migration solutions. Migrator, which is another way to access Otto, depends on the API.
