Passphrase doesn't work on linux

Description

We can confirm that some Otto, running on linux, has trouble with SSL Passphrases. The passphrase is excepted by Otto correctly on startup. But Otto can't seem to use with the FileMaker Server's SSL certificates. Under these conditions, you can't connect to Otto over HTTPS. This appeared with the initial release of Otto for linux.

Status

This issues is not yet fixed in the current version of Otto. We are working on a fix but don't have a release date yet.

Workaround

It is possible to use open ssl to remove the passphrase from the the private key used with your certificate. Although not a permanent solution, it will allow you to get up and running with Otto on linux, if you are encounteing this issues. Please read the entire document for more information.
